FAQ
What is vacuum frying?
Vacuum frying is an innovative technology in which food gets cooked at low pressure and low oil temperature within a vacuum chamber. This revolutionary technology minimizes the amount of oil absorbed by the food and helps preserve the natural texture, color, flavor, and nutrients of the food.
How do we make them?
We source the best veggies straight from the farm, followed by cleaning and cutting them. We put the veggies into a vacuum frying chamber, cooking at a low oil temperature. With this process, the veggies absorb less oil making them crispier. These veggies later undergo a centrifugation process to remove any excess oil. Finally, we season them with perfect flavors making them absolutely delicious.
Is vacuum frying healthy?
Vacuum frying is considered a healthier alternative to traditional deep frying. This process helps lock in the natural goodness of the vegetable while enhancing its natural color and texture. These veggies are cooked at a low oil temperature and absorb less oil. Any excessive oil is later removed by the process of centrifugation, resulting in a snack that contains less oil than traditional frying. Additionally, it reduces exposure to oxidation, increasing the shelf life of the food.
What exactly do we mean by “50% less fat”?
Using Vacuum Frying technology, the veggies are cooked inside a vacuum chamber at low pressure and temperature, minimizing oil absorption and vaporizing moisture. All the excess oil gets removed after frying resulting in a crispy texture and less fat content.
